Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this? It's a really weird issue and googling hasn't really helped.
I'm having to type stuff out on my Macbook, or dropbox whatever I type and open it on my Mac to proof read it. I really rely on it as my spelling is pretty bad and it's affecting my work. Normally the spell check works whenever I type, but I noticed it wasn't working at all. Turning the language to English US (I use English UK) hasn't changed anything. I've tried messing around with the typing settings, but there is no option to turn the spell check on.
On both machines the automatic updates are turned on, everything is fully up to date. Now, with the Dell, there is no spell check whatsoever apart from on OneNote which I don't use. It's everyday words this happens to as well so a simple sentence could be highlighted four or five times with mispelled words being ignored. It likes to highlight words that are spelt correctly and and gives me entirely different words in the suggestions. The Surface's spell checker is all over the place. The Micorsoft accounts have been kept seperate.
